Too many unknowns

There has been an abundance of information floating around concerning the possible sand plant planned for the northeast corner of Chippewa Falls in the midst of residential areas. It is difficult to actually know what is fact and what is creative communication. On occasion, perhaps, a few members of the Concerned Chippewa Citizens have overstated and Canadian Sand and Proppants has understated.
I know the hardworking members of the CCC have spent more hours than you can imagine researching this type of business. But because CSandP is a new business with no background or track record, we have to rely on what they tell us will or won't happen. However, from the answers (or nonanswers) we get from this company, it is evident they obviously don't have much information themselves on what to actually expect.
Because of these unknowns and the seriousness of the fallout should the plant be built in our neighborhood, it seems logical the public should be protected before the company has started business and the powers-that-be realize they made a dreadful mistake too late to rectify it.
