• We are looking for Researchers and Speakers and Letter Writers (see bottom of page).
  • Please attend as many of our Sunday afternoon meetings as you can to bring yourself up to speed.
  • CCC usually meets at 3:00 pm Every Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church, 467 E. Colome St. Chippewa Falls 54729
  • Volunteer for the many projects we are attempting to complete as rapidly as possible. We can use all the help we can get, especially if you know how to ferret fact from fiction in government doublespeak.
  • If you care to present reasoned arguments against the plant at Public Meetings, we will cheer for you; (no personal attacks please).
  • Make sure that you are on our CCC E-Mail mailing list: send an E-Mail to Juiceguy@juiceguy.com if you haven’t been getting Information.
Below is a list of Legislators, Council members and other people who are unaware that you really don’t want this plant in Chippewa.
In our opinion this project was given the go-ahead by our council when notices were put out and hearings held, but no real opposition surfaced from the local community. It sounded good to many that our council was bringing more jobs to Chippewa, and they were the voices that the council heard.
Please take the time to call or write one of two of them every day, and spread the word about Concerned Chippewa Citizens and our opposition to this project.

      We are encouraging you
right now to send a letter to Senator Kreitlow and Representative Jeff Wood asking for a Town Meeting.
We have formulated two suggested letters for you to copy, modify, and send out.

The way I would do this is as follows: (Hank)
      1. Open your Word or other writing program, leaving this web site up and running.
      2. Set up a blank page ready to write upon.
      3. Go back to the Web Site and click on the letter to Woods.
      4. Hit Control A (selects the whole page).
      5. Hit Control C (copies the page onto your clipboard).
      6. Go to your already open Word or writing program and click on the blank page.
      7. Hit control V (pastes the letter from the clipboard onto your blank document) .
      8. Fill in your Name, Address, E-mail address and Phone Number.
      9. Modify / Add to the letter as you see fit.
      10. Sign it and mail it.
      11. Repeat for Kreitlow.

Statistically speaking, your legislator regards each signed letter they receive as equal to the voices of at least ten people, so you can really make a big difference by actually sending your letter.

Do let us know what response you receive.
